Prep time: 15-20 minutes
Cooking time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
For the Burger Patty:
- ¼ kilo of ground pork (thawed 30-60mins. prior)
- 2 large eggs
- 2 tbps. of flour
- 2 cloves of garlic, crushed
- half a carrot, shredded
- salt and pepper to taste
- cooking oil
- 3 cloves of garlic, minced
- 1 small onion, minced
- ½ cup evaporated milk
- ½ cup All Purpose Cream
- ½ cup sliced mushroom buttons
- ¼ kg Baguio beans, stringed and blanched, cut in half
- salt and pepper to taste
Cookware:
mixing bowl, plate, fork, frying ladle, frying pan
Serves: 6 (consumable by 2-3 persons)
Instructions:
1) In a bowl, scramble eggs first and mix in the ground pork, pinches of salt and pepper, garlic, flour and carrots. Better use hands to mix everything so the flavors will be absorbed by the pork (make sure to sanitize well!) .
2) Using hands, form round spheres out of the pork burger mixture and place them on a plate.
NOTE: Creating your own burger patty is optional and you may just use the ones sold in grocery stores.
3) Fry the burgers until it browns. Set aside.
4) Using the same pan, remove excess cooking oil and sauté the garlic and onion until limp. Stir in the evaporated milk and all purpose cream. Simmer for about 5 minutes or until the mixture is thick.
5) Stir in the carrots, mushrooms and burger patties and cook for 5 minutes.
